Sourced from the fertile highlands surrounding Mount Kenya, this coffee comes from 400 smallholder farmers who are part of the Mahiga Cooperative. The cooperative plays an essential role in Nyeri’s thriving coffee community, using a centralized washing station to process coffee cherries into high-quality green beans ready for export.
Grown in Nyeri County’s cool, wet climate and rich, nutrient-dense soils, this coffee benefits from the ideal conditions that make Kenya’s coffees some of the best in the world.
